В статье рассматриваются особенности социальной установки на спорт у моло-

дых  атлетов  в  большом  спорте.  Обосновывается  различие  установки  личности 

и аттитюда. В работе анализируется спортивная деятельность как механизм раз-

вития личности и ее изменения.  Обсуждается влияние ситуации на социальную 

установку, а также воздействие социальной среды на компоненты аттитюда. Автор 

подчеркивает влияние межличностного взаимодействия, выделяя отношение бли-

жайшего спортивного окружения атлета как контекст формирования социальной 

установки к спорту. Также в статье отмечается особая значимость влияния семьи 

на социальную установку к спорту. Говорится об особенностях семейного воспи-

тания, положительном и отрицательном влиянии семьи, причинах спортивного ис-

тощения. Поднимается вопрос о влиянии семьи на продолжение или завершение 

спортивной карьеры атлета, также об особенности воздействия сиблингов на спор-

тивную деятельность атлета.
